Ralph A. Anderson, 82, of Eau Claire, died Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at his home.
He was born August 26, 1923 in Eau Claire to Julia (Rae) and Adolph Anderson. He graduated from Eau Claire Senior High in 1941. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1942 and served in the South Pacific until his honorable discharge in 1946.

Ralph married Joan Russell on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 24, 1948 in Eau Claire. He was employed at Uniroyal for 39 years, until his retirement in 1983.

Survivors include his wife, Joan of
Eau Claire; four children, Lynn (Steven) Halverson
of Apple Valley, MN, Jeff (Julie) Anderson of Eau
Claire, Julie (Robert) Gifford of Ft. Lauderdale,
FL, Jace (Gaye) Anderson of McFarland, WI; a sister,
Jeannett Gruen of Eau Claire; seven grandchildren;
and one great-grandson.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and one
brother, Ray.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 3, at
Fuller-Speckien Funeral Home with the Rev. Gordon Thorpe officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. |
