Margaret K. Weeks Berg, age 89, of Eau Claire,
passed away on December 27, 2006 after a long
illness. Margaret was born in Duluth,
Minnesota, to Ole and Mary (Johnson) Weeks.
After her mother's death in the influenza
epidemic of 1918, she was raised by her
mother's parents in rural Colburn, Wisconsin.
Following her marriage in 1936, she lived in
St. Paul, Minnesota before moving to Eau
Claire.
Throughout her life, Margaret was an active member of the Lutheran Church. She loved gardening, sewing and raising her children. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 70 years, Morgan Berg, and three children, Larry (Doreen), John (Kate) and Karen Mallory. In addition, she leaves 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, a sister Marie Weeks Mattson of Waupaca, Wisconsin and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Curtis.

The funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday December 30, 2006 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1314 E. Lexington Blvd, Eau Claire, WI 54701. Pastor Kurt Jacobson will officiate. Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Eau Claire following the services. Friends may call at the church Saturday morning from 9:00 am until the time of services. The family requests memorials given in Margaret's name to Northwest Wisconsin Homecare, 1405 Truax Blvd, Eau Claire, WI 54703.
