Margaret Loraine (MacLaughlin) Bergstrom, age 94 of Eau Claire died Tuesday October 7, 2003 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM Friday October 10, 2003 at Fuller Speckien Funeral Home in Eau Claire. The Rev. JoAnne Juett of First Baptist Church in Eau Claire will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire. A lunch will follow at First Baptist Church. |

She was born on August 4, 1909 at Home on Ferry
Street to Hugh and Minnie MacLaughlin. She was a
lifelong resident of "Shawtown". Loraine was a graduate of Eau Claire Senior High School Class of 1927 and salutatorian of her class. She later married Lyle Leroy Bergstrom on June 18, 1932. She worked in a secretarial capacity under state civil service at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, and later under federal civil service with army supervision at the Eau Claire Ordinance Plant. She was a life long member of First Baptist Church of Eau Claire.
Survivors include one son and one daughter-in-law: Stephen (Tina) Bergstrom, four grandchildren: Andrew Bergstrom, Laura Bergstrom, Derrick Skaggs and Jenifer Skaggs, many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Lyle Leroy Bergstrom, two brothers: Roy MacLaughlin and Alexander MacLaughlin.
Friends may call at Fuller Speckien Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 4-7pm and again on Friday morning from 10 AM until the time of service. |
