Roscelia Geraldine Bischoff, 99, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior August 1, 2006. She was a resident at Dove Healthcare for the past nine years.
 
Rose was born to Gustave and Anna Quast on August 23, 1906. She was the oldest of eight children raised on a farm in rural Fall Creek.
 
She married Carl Bischoff on November 28, 1926. They farmed and raised seven children together on their family farm south of Eau Claire. After the sale of their livestock, Rose was employed for several years as a housekeeper at the Holiday Inn.
 
She loved being surrounded by her family and friends. She was a talented cook who enjoyed making meals for her family and guests. Everyone was always welcome at her table.

  
Rose was blessed with the gift of making people laugh with her crazy antics and comical sayings.
 
Rose was a long time member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Eau Claire and Zion Lutheran Church in Cleghorn. She loved her Lord and served him faithfully.
 
She is survived by four children, Gerald (Joyce) Bischoff, Joann (Garnett) Boernke, David (Sharon) Bischoff all of Eau Claire, and James Bischoff of Hallie, one daughter-in-law Carol Bischoff, seventeen grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and special friend and caretaker, Donna Lau.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband Carl, three children, Marjorie Blodgett, Charles Bischoff and Daniel Bischoff, one son-in-law, Richard Blodgett, her parents, four brothers, Raymond Quast, Eldor Quast, Walter Quast, William Quast, three sisters, Arvilla Hagedorn, Margaret Dahl and Ruth Lange. 
 
The family would like to extend their thanks to everyone at Dove Healthcare.
 
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 4, 2006 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cleghorn with The Reverend Mark P. Braden 
officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. Friends may call at Fuller-Speckien-Hulke Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Friday one hour prior to the service.
