Kenneth Arthur Borsheim, age 76, of Eau Claire, Wisconsin went to heaven Thursday, June 16th, 2005. 
 
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday June 21st, 2005 at First Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. The Rev. Dr. Duane C. Pederson will officiate. Burial will follow the service in Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire.

 
Ken was born in Moorhead, Minnesota on July 5th, 1928 the son of Arthur and Dagney (Johnson) Borsheim. His childhood was spent in Barnesville, Minnesota and his teen years in Thief River Falls, MN where he graduated from Lincoln High School. Ken married Helen Wik in 1946. He retired from Holsum Bakers in 1990. Ken had over 43 years in the Baking Industry. He moved with his family to Eau Claire in 1955. He was a Route Supervisor, Market Manager, Sales Manager and in his later years, he was involved in public relations.
 
He was a life member of the Elks Club, past member of HillCrest Golf Club, Past Board member of C.V.C., Past Grand of I.O.O.F, former member of Moose Club, Kiwanis, Jaycees, Former member of the Thief River Falls Volunteer Fire Department and numerous boards of First Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. 
 
Ken is survived by his loving companion wife: Helen, three sons: Son #1 David (Denise) of Menomonee Falls, WI, Son #2 Steve (Vicki) of Eau Claire, and Son #3 Tom (Jackie) Borsheim of Eau Claire, a brother: Milan Borsheim of Bagley, MN, and six Grandchildren: Ben, Andy, Sara, Rory, Lindsey, and Kelsey Borsheim . He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister: Vivian and a brother: Loren. Ken and Helen celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary in 1996. 
 
Ken was a devoted Husband, Father and a fantastic Grandfather. He worked hard and played hard. Ken liked cards and spending time at his beloved cottage in Northern Minnesota. It was an inspiration to meet him as he liked people and with his smile he touched many lives in his time. Ken enjoyed deer hunting with family. It was always a special time. Ken will be sadly missed by his beloved wife and loving family.
 
Friends may call at Fuller Speckien Funeral Home in Eau Claire on Monday evening from 4-8 pm and at the church Tuesday afternoon from 1:00 pm until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in Ken's name to Lutheran Social Services and First Lutheran Church.
