Marvin Darrell Brownell, 74, formerly of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, died Saturday, November 15, 2003 at the Veteran's Hospital in Tomah, WI. Marvin was born in Eau Claire County on a farm south of Eau Claire, the son of Vesper and Cora (Crooker) Brownell who preceded him in death. He attended the Eau Claire Public Schools until he left for the military.

Marvin is survived by a brother, Arnold Brownell, of Tucson, AZ, three nieces, Sandra Brownell of Atlanta, GA, Barbara Johnson of North Hollywood, CA and Linda Ingelbrand of Tucson, AZ, a sister, Idabelle Ludwikoski of Punta Gorda, Florida and two nephews, Kevin Ludwikoski of Kansas City, Kansas and Edward Patrick Ludwikoski of Portland, Oregon.

 
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 20, 2003 at Fuller-Speckien Funeral Home with Pastor JoAnne Juett officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Gardens where Military Rites will be performed by V.F.W. Post 305. Friends may call from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at Fuller-Speckien Funeral Home and also on Thursday one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be given to Veterans Service Office, Government Center, 800 Wilson, Menomonie, WI 54751. Fuller-Speckien Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
