Irene Annabelle Brownell, 75, of Eau Claire, after a long and brave struggle, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday morning October 28, 2005 from the Syverson Lutheran Home in Eau Claire.
Memorial Services will be at 6:00 pm, Sunday, October 30, 2005 at Fuller Speckien Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph Road, Eau Claire, WI 54701. Pastor Rodney Venberg of Bethesda Lutheran Brethren Church will officiate.
Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday afternoon October 30, 2005 from 3:00 pm until the time of services.

Irene was born April 10, 1930 in Eleva, Wisconsin to Edwin and Selma (Quale) Sandberg. She spent her life in Eau Claire. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy.
Survivors include her two daughters, Linda (Earl) Gregoire of Barnes, WI, and Nancy Hawke of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren Scott (Aimee) Bradison, DePere, Todd (Sarah) Bradison, Fall Creek, Joshua Hawke, San Antonio; great grandchildren Bryce and Brett Bradison, DePere; step-grandchildren Renee Thompson, Eau Claire and Ryan Gregoire, Hurst, TX; step-great grandchild Taylor Thompson, Eau Claire; brother Robert (Dixie) Sandberg, Hagerstown, MD; sister Cornetta (Richard) Kreye, Wabasha, MN; stepmother Ava Sandberg; stepsister Barbara (Jerry) Peuse; nieces and nephews; and many friends and special care persons.
Irene was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother; brothers Russell and Edner; sister Eleanor Belmore.
