After several years of working in Nuclear Medicine Julie attended St. Louis University where she received a B.S. in Nursing. She then moved to Golden Valley, Minnesota and worked at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in the Twin Cities. In 1994 Julie moved to Eau Claire, Wisconsin and worked as a Cardiac Nurse Clinician for Luther-Midlefort Clinic until the present.
In 1989 Julie married Jon Buth and together they had two children, Erin and Connor. She was later divorced. Julie is survived by her two beautiful children, Erin 12, and Connor, 9. Along with God, Erin and Connor gave Julie the courage, strength, and will everyday to fight her courageous battle until the very end. Julie is also survived by her loving sister Jill Hurlburt (Phil) of Eau Claire, loving brother Jon Schroeder (Karen), loving father, Neal Schroeder (Marilyn), grandmother Lillian Schroeder, all of Cornell, nephews Adam and Jacob Hurlburt, Aric and Avery Schroeder and nieces Ana and Gretchen Schroeder and special aunts Martha, Dot, Betty, and Dorothy, and special uncles Charlie and Sam and many cousins. Julie was preceded in death by her mother, Jani Schroeder, grandparents, Abby and Norma Meyer and Roy Schroeder.
Julie lived every day to the fullest with a bright and positive outlook on life. She met every roadblock with the strong will and positive attitude that many could only desire and found the proverbial "silver lining in every cloud." She touched the lives of many people along the way and made many very special friends on her paths. We know she will be doing the same in her new life in heaven with our Lord God. We all love you Julie and will miss you so much until the day we are reunited!
