Carol Bennett

Carol V. Bennett born October 2, 1922 to Joseph and Ethel Wimmer in Eau Claire, WI, went to be with her Lord and Savior August 24, 2007 at Oakwood Villa in Altoona.

Carol married Edward Bennett in Eau Claire on December 27, 1941. Four children were born to this relationship: Three daughters, Cheryl (Donn) Olson of Dalbo, MN, Liana (Harvey) Johnson of Rochester, MN, Rochelle (Gordon) Quayle of San Juan Capistrano, CA, and one son, Lance (Karen) Bennett of Menomonie, WI.

Carol's first loves were her Savior and her family, which she loved very much. Her home and cookie jar were always open to her children's friends.

She is survived by her husband and her four children. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Aunt Hazie Wimmer and Uncle Frank Wimmer.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday August 28, 2007 at Fuller Speckien Hulke Funeral Home. Pastor Brian Jahn of Grace Baptist church will officiate. Private Family committal services will take place at Forest Hill Cemetery in Eau Claire. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6:00-8:30 pm and again on Tuesday morning from 10 am until the time of services. Fuller-Speckien-Hulke Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
