Cecelia "Ceil" Frances Fedie, age 87 of Eau Claire passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at Sacred Heart Hospital.
 
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am on Monday October 29, 2007 at St. Patrick's Church in Eau Claire. Father Bill Dhein and Monsignor Edmund Klimek will officiate. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery. 
 
Friends may call on Sunday afternoon from 2-6 pm at Fuller Speckien Hulke Funeral Home. There will be a Rosary Service on Sunday beginning at 5:30 pm. Visitation will continue on Monday morning at the church from 10 am until the time of services.

 
Ceil was born October 12, 1920 in the town of Modena to Louis and Cecelia (Brunner) Brantner. She married Martin Fedie on May 14, 1940. Together they had three children. The couple met when she went to hear the Hub Fedie Band in which he was a member. They also enjoyed the years they spent on the hobby farm.
 
Cecelia was an ambitious and hard working individual, working until just prior to her death. She was a CCD and 4H teacher, volunteer for the Red Cross, worked as a waitress, made Christmas Wreaths for Holly House and for the past 32 years worked at Putnam Heights Quality Dry Cleaners. She was also a member of St. Patrick's Guild. She loved to fish, bake cook, Play cards, sew, quilt, crochet, embroider, and garden.
 
She was a woman of great faith, caring for others while mentoring many. Her warmth and caring nature was felt by many and was an inspiration to all who came in contact with her. She was a second mother and best friend to many. Her grand children and great grand children were the love of her life. She will be truly missed and never forgotten by family and friends.
 
She is survived by three children, Judy (Ron) Kilde, Sun City, Arizona, Sandra (Paul) Maulucci, Eau Claire and Jean (Wayne) Olson, Eau Claire, five grandchildren, David and Dan Kilde, Brad Maulucci, Rebecca (Maulucci) Prahl, and Pam (Olson) Iverson, six great grandchildren, Ryan and Brandon Kilde, Josh, Ryan, Anna and Tyler Iverson. Two sisters, Julianna (Brantner) Fedie and Hildegard (Brantner) Steinke and a brother Matthew Brantner as well as many nieces and nephews especially one "special" niece, June.
 
Cecelia was preceded in death by her husband, Martin, brothers Lawrence, Ludwig, Felix, Wilfred Brantner and her sister Marion (Brantner) Pichler.
 
The family would like to thank the staff at Sacred Heart Hospital for their excellent care of Cecelia and a special thank you to Monsignor Klimek.
