Vernon Edward Gunderson, 62, died September 17, 2007.
Vernon was born on December 29, 1944 to David M. and Hazel (Gunderson) Johnson at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire. He was baptized and confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church and attended Eau Claire schools. He grew up on the west side of Eau Claire and liked to fish and hunt.
Vernon is survived by his brother, Douglas Johnson.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Eric R. Johnson and sister, Judith J. (Johnson) Crotteau; and niece, Cynthia M. Crotteau.
There will be a private family service and burial for Vernon at Forest Hill Cemetery.
