Helen B. Hall, age 90, formerly of Eau Claire, died Sunday, April 15, 2007 in Mt.
Horeb, Wisconsin.

She was born on March 5, 1917 in Biron, Wisconsin (Wisconsin Rapids) to Martin
R.W. Glebke and Holdina (Knoll) Glebke. The family moved to Gilman, Wisconsin where she attended school in Gilman and lived on the family farm. Helen moved to Eau Claire and worked for the Marvin and Peggy Samuelson family and also worked at Presto and U.S. Rubber Comanys in Eau Claire. She married Donald A. Hall on August 10, 1946 and they built their home in Altoona, where she has resided until the last few years. Helen lived at Oak Gardens Assisted Living in Altoona for several years before moving to Ingelside Nursing Home in Mt.
Horeb, Wisconsin. She has been a member of the Saint Matthews Lutheran Church for over 60 years. She still continues to listen to the sermons, which they taped and mailed to her every week.

Helen is proceeded in death by her parents, her husband Donald "Bud" on March 12, 1986, and one brother, Carl Glebke.
Survivors include one daughter, LouAnn (John) Spanel, Mt Horeb, WI; three granddaughters, Erin (Kevin) Sardeson, Mt Horeb, WI, Sarah (Mark Losby) Spanel, Davenport, IA, and Katie Spanel, Whitewater, WI; two great-grandsons, Gaige and Drake Sardenson; one sister, Rose Liazuk, Gilman, WI and one brother, Earl (Frances) Glebke, Gilman, WI.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 19, 2007 at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, 1915 Hogeboom Avenue, Eau Claire, Wisconsin with Reverend Steve Rutter officiating. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to services. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in the Town of Washington.
