Paul Raymond Holmquist, 64, of Eau Claire, Wisconsin died June 20, 2007 in Eau Claire. Paul was born on January 10, 1943 in Superior, Wisconsin, the son of Raymond and Ann Marie (Nelson) Holmquist.
 
Paul enjoyed biking, swimming, golf, antique cars and planes. He was an avid reader of history. He loved his family, children, grandchildren and friends. He had a terrific sense of humor.
 

Paul is survived by his wife, Lynanne of Eau Claire, his son, Michael (Sue) Holmquist of Farmington, MN, his daughter Melissa Holmquist of Eau Claire, granddaughter, Katelyn Holmquist of Eau Claire, grandson, Blake Holmquist of Farmington, MN his sisters, Marian (Bill) Klish of Houston, TX and Barbara Rodgers of Eau Claire, his brother, Carl (Rhonda) Holmquist of Black River Falls, WI,. He is further survived by his nieces, Suzanne (Dave) Sparger and their children, Tyler, Jacob and Victoria, of Eau Claire, Kathryn (Jack) Ostermaier and their children, Emily and Abigail of Houston, TX, Kristin (Eric) Hoover and their children Colton and Madelyn of Selinsgrove, PA and Julie (Derek) Erickson and their children Emma, Jack and Reese of Green Bay, WI., his nephews, Mark Holmquist of Chicago, IL and David Holmquist of Black River Falls, WI, his sister-in-law, Lisa Wiedmann of Rhinelander, WI, brother-in-law, Lew (Bonnie) Baker of Houston , TX and his family, Michael Baker and his children, Brian, David and Erin of Atlanta, GA, Steven (Monique) Baker and their child, Michaela and nephew, Robert (Michelle) Baker and their children, Laura and Scott of Houston, TX.. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

 
Funeral services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church on Monday, June 25, 2007 at 2:00 pm. with Pastor Jim Page officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Eau Claire. Friends may call on Sunday, June 24, 2007 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Fuller-Speckien-Hulke Funeral Home. Friends may also call at the church on Monday for one hour prior to the service. A memorial fund will be established in Paul's name.
