Luella V. Huset, age 93 of Eau Claire went
home to be with the Lord, October 22, 2007.
Luella was born February 22, 1914 in the
Township of Chimney Rock. She was the daughter
of Thomas and Amanda (Oium) Halvorson. She
married Erwin L. Huset on August 31, 1947 in
Eleva. Erwin and Luella built over 60 homes in
the Eau Claire and Altoona area before their
retirement in 1979. They moved to Chetek, WI
where Luella continued to enjoy her gardening,
Church, friends and family. Luella returned to
live in Eau Claire after Erwin passed away.

Survivors include her daughter, Kelly Sorenson and Special Friend Carol Lemay of Boyd, Niece Muriel (Dale) Larson of Lyndon Station, Sisters-In-Law, Genevieve and Gladys Huset of Barron, and many many Nieces and Nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Erwin on February 23, 1994, an infant daughter, two sisters Maymie Mattson and Alvina Halvorson, and two brothers Jobert and Clarence Halvorson all of Eleva.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am on Friday October 26, 2007 at Concordia Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3715 London Road, Eau Claire, WI. Pastor Frederick W. Theiste will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Eau Claire. Friends may call at Fuller Speckien Hulke Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 4-8 pm and at the church Friday morning from 10 am until the time of services.
