Charles G. Jacobson "Jake", 54, of Eau Claire, WI died Saturday, September 15, 2007 at Sacred Heart Hospital after a long illness. He was born on January 21, 1953 in Marshfield, WI to Gordon and Virgene (Nelson) Jacobson.
He attended Memorial High School, Eau Claire, WI. He was joined in marriage to Debra Paine in March 2, 1976. He enjoyed ski jumping, fishing, hunting, playing football and was an avid Packer fan. He loved to tell jokes, play dice and cards, loved music concerts, working on cars and watching old "John Wayne" movies.
He is survived by his wife, Debra; son, Travis Jacobson (Regina); two grandsons, Alister Gordon & Aaron Matthew; two step grandchildren, Jordon and Shawna; sister, Patricia (Patrick) McGrouary; and several nieces and nephews.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Virgene (Nelson) Jacobson, and brother, Thomas Jacobson.
Visitation for Charles will be held Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at Fuller-Speckien-Hulke Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph Road, Eau Claire, WI from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, at History Land Cemetery, Hayward, WI.
