Trudy's fun-loving spirit and her kind heart were contagious. She was an active member of St. Armand's Key Lutheran Church in Sarasota, FL. On Fridays, along with a group of women, Trudy put together the Sunday Bulletin. They were known as the "Bulletin Bullets." She always brought treats and made sure the pastor's m&m jar was full. Her Christian heart was evident to all.
For 30 years, Trudy enjoyed working along side her husband, Bill. They owned and operated a motel on Lido Beach in Sarasota, Florida. It gave them the opportunity to meet so many different people and develop so many long lasting friendships.
Trudy loved the beach and water. She loved to swim and walk along the shore, looking for shells and talking to people. Her greatest passions were reading and shopping. She loved working outdoors and biking in her neighborhood.
Trudy is survived by her daughter, Brenda Hansen of Eau Claire. One granddaughter, Amy (Shawn) Kraemer and two great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Bella Kraemer all from New Glarus, WI.
