Vernon H. Lange, Jr. of Eau Claire, Wisconsin died May 21, 2007 at Sacred Heart Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born May 28, 1922 to Vernon and Gertrude
(Schwahn) Lange. He attended public schools in Eau Claire graduating from Eau Claire High School in 1940.

He attended Lawrence University until leaving to serve in WWII. Upon his return he went to work for Presto Industries, retiring in 1987. |

Vernon is survived by his wife, Mary K. (Bullis) Lange with whom he recently celebrated 59 years of marriage. He is further survived by his five children, Charles (Nancy) Lange of Marion, Iowa; Connie (Dr. Vincent) Liberto of Jackson, Mississippi; Thomas Lange of Atlanta, Georgia; John Lange of Memphis, Tennessee; and Kathleen (Lyle) Koerner of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, grandchildren, Elizabeth and Jennifer Lange, Lisa (Dr.Timothy) Shann and Keith (Tori) Liberto, Alexis, Austin and Ainsley Lange, Megann and Mackenzie Koerner and great-grandchildren, Tyler Shann and Sofia Liberto.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws, Edward and Hazel Bullis and his brother, Richard Lange and niece, Robin Lange.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 25, 2007 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Eugene Klink officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
