He was a member of BAC Union Local #19 for 20 years, and he was employed by Ivan Rice & Sons of Milton, WI as a cement finisher.
Bill was so proud of the home he shared with Sherrie in Fall Creek and was so looking forward to retirement. He loved anything that had to do with the outdoors: cutting wood, hunting, and the annual canoe and Holcombe trips or just walking around "aimlessly" in the woods. He was a good friend to many and will sure leave emptiness in all of our hearts. His children, Family and Friends were a very important part of is life.
Bill is survived by his wife, Sherrie of Fall Creek, children, Todd of Ft. Myers, FL, Chad of Minneapolis, Erin (Shane Raney) of Eau Claire, three very special grandsons, Nathan of Augusta and Dilyn and Carter of Eau Claire, Brothers and Sisters, Cheryl and (Liny) Knudsen of Eau Claire, Phil (Marge) Lewis of Eau Claire, Ron Lewis of Eau Claire, Steve (Sharon) Lewis of Arlington, TX, Sue (Al) Schmit of Wabasha MN, Randi (Larry) Nelson of Elk Mound, David Lewis of Eau Claire, Mary (John) Frase of Osseo, Mother-in-law, Dorothy Steinke of Eau Claire, Sisters and Brother-in-laws, Pam (Bud) Frank of Fall Creek, Barb Steinke of Eau Claire, Kevin (Pam) Steinke of Eau Claire and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. His Parents, two brothers, Paul and Mike and Grandson, Sean, preceded him in death.
Bill: We will miss you and love you lots! "Keep your powder dry!"
