Howard Pace, age 64 of Eau Claire passed away Sunday afternoon December 16, 2007 at the Tri County Memorial Hospital in Whitehall.
Howie was born September 25, 1943 in Eau Claire to Woody and Erna (Hickisch) Pace. He graduated from Regis High School in 1961.

After graduation he entered the U.S. Navy and served for 3 years. He married Dru on August 14, 1965. Howie was an employee of Viking Electric for 30 years, retiring in April 1999. |

He is survived by: his wife, Dru; daughter Denise (Jeff) Cook, Black River Falls; sons, Rev. Woodrow Pace, Neillsville and Scott Pace (Lori), Eau Claire; sister Cappy (Dick) Twite; and grandchildren, CJ, Sonja and Colten.
Howie is preceded in death by his father, Woody Pace and mother, Erna (Pace) King.
Services will be Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Altoona. The Most Reverend Bishop Jerome E. Listecki will officiate, Father Norbert Wilger and Father Woody Pace will be serving as concelebrant. Friends and family may visit one hour prior to services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Howie's name to St. Mary's Catholic School, 1812 Lynn Avenue, Altoona, WI 54720.
