Raymond L. Rye, age 75 of Eau Claire, died Saturday, April 21, 2007 at Syverson Lutheran Home in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

Raymond was born on March 21, 1932 in Rock County, MN, the son of Gullick and Emma (Thompson) Rye. On November 7, 1959 he married Sandra Richards at St. Mary's Church in Rhinelander, Wisconsin.

Raymond served his country in the Armed Forces and enjoyed woodworking. |
He is survived by his wife, Sandra (Eau Claire); children, Raymond C. Rye (Eau Claire), Jeffery T. (Amy) Rye (Fort Myers, FL), Barbara Zillmer (Eau Claire), and Steven (Deborah) Rye (Fall Creek); grandchildren, Curtis, Laura, Raquel, and Danielle; sister, Vivian Helgeson (Bemidji, MN); and brother, Glenn Rye (Sun City, AZ). |

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at Fuller-Speckien-Hulke Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph Road, Eau Claire. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Internment will be in Spring Brook Cemetery, Elk Mound.
