Grete L. Schuster

Grete Louise Schuster, age 95, of Cleghorn went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 30 at the Osseo Hospital. She was born Grete Louise Meyer on December 10, 1911 in Dörverden, Germany. She married Michael Schuster on July 20, 1946. They immigrated to Wisconsin in 1952. She farmed with her family in the Cleghorn area until her retirement. She enjoyed gardening, knitting and baking. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by daughter, Margarete (Kurt) Storck of Waxhaw, North Carolina, sons, Wilhelm (Debbie) of Blaine, MN and Michael, Jr. (Linda Milbee) of Cleghorn; 9 grandchildren, Kristina Storck, Robert (Lisa), Andrew (Val), Chris, James, Matthew Schuster, Jennifer (Dave) Roetter, Erica (Brian)Hink, Adam Schuster; 4 great grandchildren Codey, Samantha, Kaitlyn and Ryan.

Grete is preceded in death by her husband, Michael, Sr., and her brother Wilhelm Meyer.

Services for Grete will be on Wednesday, October 3, at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Eleva, WI at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mark P. Braden officiating. Friends may call at Fuller-Speckien-Hulke Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph Road in Eau Claire, on Tuesday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church. A private family burial will be held at Zion Lutheran Cemetery at a later date.
