Rosemary Mason Scobie went to join her Lord God on December 6, 2007at the Syverson Home.
 
She was born in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin October 21, 1915, to Bernard & Lucy (Gunn) Mason, and had four brothers - Owen, Paul, Edward and Victor, all now deceased. She attended Notre Dame Elementary, McDonell Memorial High School, and then the University of Minnesota, where she met Robert Scobie. They were married January 17, 1939. Bob passed away July 4, 2003 (they were married 64 years).
 
Bob & Rosemary lived in Eau Claire and had 6 children: William (Nancy) in Chippewa Falls; Susan (Frank) Mazzarella in New Caney Texas; Peter (Randi) in Eau Claire; Margaret (Mike) Scobie in Lovettsville, VA; and Michael (Cheri) in Westminster, Md., Mary (Deceased) and Paul B. Mason Jr. (Nephew and honorary child).
 
Rosemary was blessed with 12 grandchildren: Williams children are: Timothy and Patrick Scobie, Susan's children are: Elizabeth Gardner, Kevin Martin and Andrew Martin; Peter's children are: David Scobie, Stephanie Niebergall, and Heather Lessard; Maggie's children are: Jesse and Katrina Scobie-Saedlo; and Michael's children are: Amanda & Colleen Scobie. 
 
Rosemary was also blessed with 21 great-grandchildren: 
Lauren, Collin, & Cameron Scobie, Alexis & Ian Scobie, Megan & Mason Johnston, Grace Gardner, Rachel, Sarah, Christopher, & Aaron Scobie, Damion Scobie & Skyler Carlson, Katlyn, Ella, Walker, & Faith Niebergall, Ethan & Lillian Lessard.
 
Rosemary was a Director of Mason Shoe Company for 50 years, and was proud of her role of supporting the growth and development of this family business that her Grandfather and Father created in 1904. She was an active Volunteer in the community throughout her life. She was a long term Cub Scout Den mother while her 3 sons were growing up. She was active in Hospice, and volunteered at Sacred Heart Hospital, and loved helping anyone in the Garfield neighborhood, or in need.
 
Rosemary was a very accomplished artist, painting over 500 paintings. She traveled extensively, and loved meeting new people and learning new things. Her favorite travels were with her children and grandchildren, and she and Bob loved organizing family trips. 
 
The Family would like to give special thanks to all the Staff at the Syverson Home who were so loving and caring to Rosemary.
 
There will be a Mass open to family and friends at Sacred Heart Chapel on Monday December 10th at 4:30 p.m. officiated by Monsignor Klimek.
