Erika F. Stotesbury

Erika F. Stotesbury, 92, died November 28, 2007 at Barron Care and Rehabilitation.

Erika as born October 9, 1915 to Adele and William Benecke in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. She attended school in Eau Claire and graduated from New Richmond High.

Her marriage on November 24, 1934 to Chester Stotesbury produced four children. Survivors include: three daughters, Jane Hoepner, Menomonie, Lynn (Warren) Johnson, Winter, Nancy Schultz, Chetek; and son, Dale (Donna) Stotesbury, Winter. Twelve Grandchildren include: Jodi Hoepner, Julie Weber, Jackie Imhoff, Debbie Montgomery, Dawn Amato, Jeff Johnson, Michael Johnson, Paula Vogler, Jackie Bethel, Rebecca Anderson, Elizabeth Wadzinski, David Schultz and 21 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Chester, 2 sons-in-law, Duane Hoepner and Gerald Schultz, and grandson baby Hoepner.

Ericka will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and a wonderful cook!

She worked many years as a salesperson at Edwin's Apparel in Eau Claire. Following that, she and Chet started Oakwood Antiques out of their home where only the finest was refinished and sold. She was loved.

Memorial service will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church on Highland Avenue, Eau Claire on Friday, December 7, at 11:00 a.m. There will be a visitation for one hour before services. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. at Lakeview Cemetery. Pastor Karen Hofstad will officiate.
