Josephine A. Wendt, 80, died on Friday, November 02, 2007 at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Josephine was born on August 18, 1927 to Louis and Anna
(Thalacker) Nichols in Plum City, Wisconsin.

She was a long time resident of the Town of Union, and was associated with charitable organization such as: Western
Dairyland, RSVP and St. Francis Food Pantry. She worked at Montgomery Ward and JCPenny for many years.
She will be missed by all.
Josephine is survived by: her three children, Helmer
L.(Jane) Swanson, of Burlington, WI, Sue (Larry) Beebe of Colfax, WI, and Carol Nelson of Town of Union, WI. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and one great, great grandchild; and 10 brothers and sisters.

Josephine is preceded in death by: her husband, Helmer S. Swanson; her husband, George Wendt; her son, Danny Wendt; her parents, Louis and Anna Nichols; two sisters, Beatrice and Marjorie; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services for Josephine will be on Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Fuller-Speckien-Hulke Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph Road, Eau Claire, with granddaughter Pastor Amy J. Meyer officiating. Burial will be at St. John's Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
