Your dad and I worked together at DCY-LaCrosse 65-67; he taught two graduate courses that I took, and we were on the infamous State Dept volleyball team that won only three games in the entire 1966 season (as the other team forfeited). Our careers crossed again when I worked for Polk Co (69-71) and Bill was one of my consultants in the EauClaire state office. I shall remember your Dad's dry sense of humor. He also was one of the better volleyball players on the team.

On behalf of the faculty and staff of the School of School of Social Work, at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I want to express my condolences on the passing of our 1953 graduate, Lt. Colonel William Adams. I understand that he had an active professional social work career in child welfare and public social services and in teaching with the UW Extension. The School will be sending its annual newsletter to our 9,500 alumni in August, and we will make certain to include notice of William's passing and information about his career. The School was founded in 1946 so William is amoung are early graduates. Please share my condolences with his family. Mel Morgenbesser Alumni Relations School of Social Work UW Madison

Uncle Bill will be sadly missed. He was some one I looked forward to seeing, when I was a kid, when he came to grandma Koran's house.
