   Percy "Bud" Bergerson, 90, died April 7, 2008 at the Heritage Assisted Living in Eau Claire. Bud was born on August 30, 1917 in Strum, Wisconsin to Ben and Luella (Skogstad) Bergerson. He graduated from Eau Claire High School in 1935. He served in the Army Air Corp as a radio operator from 1941 to 1945. 
 
On June 29, 1945 Bud married Virginia Gullickson. They lived their 62 years of married life in Eau Claire where Bud worked at Presto Company, Eau Claire Book & Stationary, and Land O' Lakes. He spent 32 years with Eau Claire Post Office as a letter carrier and supervisor. He was a charter member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepard where he taught Sunday School for 20 years. He was also a charter member of a trout-fishing club called The Lunkers. He was a member of the Shriners and the Masonic Temple. Bud was an avid fisherman and sports enthusiast. He watched or listened to almost every Braves/Brewers game since the 1950's. He was loved for his positive attitude and his quick wit.
 

 
He is survived by his wife, Virginia; daughters, Kathryn (Lon) Hansen and Jane (James) Hauger; grandchildren, Kristi (Joshua) LaPointe, Jill (Ryan) Modl, and Jordyn Hauger; and great-grandchildren, Oliver and Lilly LaPointe.
 
Bud is preceded in death by his parents and five sisters, Florence Champion, Bernice Larson, Marian Bushendorf, Hazel Vold, and Betty Larson.
 
Services for Bud will be Thursday, April 10, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Lutheran Church of the Good Sheperd, 1120 Cedar Street, Eau Claire, with Pastor John Hosmann officiating. Friends and family may visit at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of the service on Thursday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in the Town of Washington.
