Marjorie Mae (Miller) Berguson, age 87 of Eau Claire, died on Monday morning, July 28, 2008 at the Clairemont Nursing Home in Eau Claire.
Born June 2, 1921 in Fairchild, WI to Harry and Bessie (Johnson) Miller where she spent her childhood and completed her schooling. She spent her entire life in the Eau Claire area except for a few years in Minneapolis. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Howard
Berguson. She is survived by her cousin Kay Eversole, nephew and his son Peter and Todd
Eversole, step children, Bruce (Linda) Berguson of Carlsbad, CA, Carol Taylor of Burnsville, MN, and Gayle (Dan) Coleman of Park Rapids, MN, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren, and many close long-time friends and co-workers. |

Marjorie was an active member of Lake Street United Methodist Church and Order of Eastern Star. She worked most recently for Equitable Life Insurance Company and the Chippewa Valley Technical College.
She enjoyed traveling, gardening, and volunteering at her church, Luther Hospital, and the local grade school. She also enjoyed many types of needle/hand work and shared her special creations with family, friends, and church organizations.
Her family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Heatherwood Assisted Living and to Bob and Dorothy Herdrich, for their care and assistance during the past few years.
Marjorie always wanted to be "useful" and will be remembered for her kind heart, sense of style and creativity. She will be missed.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Lake Street United Methodist Church, 337 Lake Street, Eau Claire, WI 54703, Luther Hospital, or the Alzheimer's Association.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 2, 2008 at Lake Street United Methodist Church in Eau Claire. Pastor Graham West will officiate. Burial will take place in the Fairchild Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Saturday morning from 10 am until the time of services.
