I met Cathy about a year ago through Kathleen Conlee and was totally blown away by her zest for life and fabulous sense of humor. Hello Friends, I’m very saddened to read the news of Cathy’s passing in our local newspaper The Post Star. ~I realize she’s been battling this for quite some time now and must finally be at peace~ Still I sympathize with all of you for all you’ve been through. Cathy was my first boss at my first job so not being used to being "bossed" around I quickly started answering "yes, mother" whenever she gave me direction. That was almos 20 years ago. I was a young, single mother moving to the big city to make my way and man was I scared. I am absolutely positive God placed me in Cathi's care at that time in my life. Her friendship gave me the strength and courage to survive a very difficult time in my life and for that I am eternally grateful to my mother, Cathi. Even tho we didn't see a lot of each other over the years I will miss her terribly as I am sure everyone that knew her will.
