Brady served in the Army Reserves with high honors from 1970-1976. He graduated from Winona State with a degree in education. Upon graduation in 1972 he took a position at DeLong Middle School teaching a trade he loved, Industrial Arts now known as Technology Education. He started his 30 plus years at a new school and continued there until his retirement in June of 2003. He loved teaching not only students but also guiding new teachers. He was an exceptional teacher who touched many young lives and he deeply loved his job. |
Some of the things he enjoyed were rebuilding the family cabin in Chetek, WI where he met many friends, volunteered and it became his second home. He loved teaching and helping his two sons with auto repair and taught them how to fix many things. He looked forward to his annual trips to
Cozumel, Mexico where he became a part of the local community.
He will be missed by the thousands of students he taught, his family and friends.
