James D. Campbell, age 59 of Eau Claire, died Saturday, October 11, 2008, at Angel Space due to cancer.
 
James was born on November 11, 1948, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, the son of John and Lois (Davis) Campbell. James remained single throughout his life - he never went to St. Louis. 
 
He worked at several locations during his life, lastly at Menards Distribution Center. James loved music and played in bands including, Doc And The Interns and Fog Water And The Crankers.
 
James is survived by his brother, Mickey (Carol) Campell, Eau Claire; cousins, Ron Spehle, Karen Bacik, and Mary Ellen Zachman; several nieces and one nephew.
 

  
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lois and Jack; sister, Mary Kay Lommen; and brother, Terry Campbell.
 
The family would like to extend a sincere Thank You to the many friends that called or stopped to visit Jim and also to both Gene and Darrell at Menards Distribution Center.

In lieu of flowers, family memorials preferred. 
 
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2008, at Fuller-Speckien-Hulke Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph Road, Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday evening from 5-8 p.m. and again Saturday, one hour prior to services. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery at a later date.
