Jeffrey E. Erickson

Jeffrey E. Erickson, age 36, of Eau Claire, beloved son, brother and uncle, died unexpectedly at home on February 5, 2008.

Jeff was born April 22, 1971 in New Ulm, Minnesota and moved to Eau Claire at the age of five. He attended school in Eau Claire, graduating from North Senior High School in 1989. He later went to school at the CVTC, obtaining a Paralegal degree.

He was also an avid sports fan, especially of the Minnesota Vikings. He was a doting uncle to his niece and nephew, and enjoyed many fun times with them. He will be sadly missed.

Jeff is survived by his mother and step father, Sandra and Larry Metsala of Madison; sister and brother-in-law, Kristin and Mark Johnson of Eau Claire; and his niece and nephew, Makenzie and Matthew Johnson of Eau Claire. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
