Bonnie J. Fisher, 75, of Eau Claire died October 11, 2008, at Dove Healthcare in Eau Claire.
Bonnie was born in Eau Claire on November 14, 1932 to Palmer and Catherine Peterson. Bonnie graduated from St. Patrick Catholic High School in Eau Claire. On June 18, 1955 she married Chuck Fisher in Fort Lee, Virginia. She was a crossing guard for the Eau Claire Area School District from 1992 to 2004.
Bonnie was an avid Badger, Notre Dame, and Packer fan. She enjoyed bowling and going to bingo with her best friend Clara Whiteside for many years. Family visits from her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were always very special to Bonnie. She also enjoyed trips to see friends at K-Mart and monthly luncheons with childhood friends. |

Bonnie is survived by her sons, Terry (Bonnie) Fisher (Neillsville, WI), Timothy (Susan) Fisher (Eau Claire, WI); grandchildren, TJ Fisher, Melissa Fisher, Kimberly Fisher, Aaron Fisher, and Jacob Fisher; great-grandchildren, Dylan Fisher and Mackenzie Mc Clenning; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Chuck, and brother Bernard (Beverly) Peterson.

A funeral liturgy will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, October 17, 2008 at St. James the Greater Catholic Church with Deacon Richard Peterson officiating. Friends may call at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire.
