Evelyn I. Foster, age 96 of Eau Claire passed away early Monday morning April 21, 2008 at her daughter's home under the care of St. Joseph's Hospice, after living at Dove Healthcare for the past year.
Evelyn was born on June 18, 1911. She was born to Archie and May (Livermore) Russell. She married Harry E. Foster and was primarily a homemaker.
Evelyn is survived by: her son, James, daughters, Connie Simonson and Kathy Evans; grandsons, David Simonson and Ryan Foster; granddaughters, Shannon Klein, Leslie
Jaquish, Amanda Lyke and Kena Lyke; 5 great grandsons, Kyle, Joey,
Jefry, Eric and Nelson; 3 great granddaughters, Samantha, Paige and Barbara; a 1 week old great-great granddaughter, Evelyn Anne; and sisters-in-law Margaret Oliver and Lorraine Fleming. |

She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry E. Foster; parents, Archie and May (Livermore) Russell; sisters, Alice (Gerald) Turney, Laura Pitt/Paulson (Robert and Ole); brothers, Vern Russell (Dorothy Garner) and Don Russell; grandson, Steven Simonson; father-in-law, Howard Foster; and mother-in-law, Tulip Foster.
Services for Evelyn will be on Thursday, April 24, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Fuller-Speckien-Hulke Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph Road, Eau Claire, Wisconsin with Pastor Dwayne Winterberg officiating. Friends and family may visit from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in the Town of Washington.
