Ruby I. Friberg, age 87 of Eau Claire
passed away on Sunday morning December 14, 2008 at the Syverson
Lutheran Home in Eau Claire, WI.
Memorial services will take place at 6:30 pm on Thursday evening
December 18, 2008 at Fuller Speckien Hulke Funeral Home, 3209
Rudolph Road, Eau Claire, WI. Father William Dhein and Pastor
Debra Boynton will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in
the Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery in Rockford, IL. Friends and
Family may call at the funeral home on Thursday afternoon from
3:00 pm until the time of services.

Ruby was born April 29, 1921 in the Town of Oak Grove, WI to Arthur and Clara
(Drost) Bogstad. She graduated from Elk Mound High School in 1939. She married Raymond L Anderson in Estherville, IA in 1941. Ray & Ruby & family moved to the Rice Lake Area in 1950, where Ray started Anderson Roofing. Ruby was employed as a waitress at various restaurants in the Rice lake area, most notably Lehman's Supper Club. The marriage later ended in divorce. Ray passed away on October 10, 1990. Ruby moved to Rockford in 1970 where she was employed by Ingersoll as a timekeeper and later as a waitress for Howard Johnson's until her retirement in 1985. She married Donald L. Friberg on May 3, 1985 in Rockford, IL. He passed away on November 17, 1999. |

She was a member of the Clifford E. Johnson V.F.W #9759 Women's Auxillary Loves Park, Illinois where Don was a Past Commander.
Survivors include three sons: Wayne Anderson of Loves Park, IL, Larry (Karen) Anderson of Rice Lake, WI, Don (Sue) Anderson of Eau Claire, nine grandchildren and 9
greatgrandchildren, three brothers: Joe Bogstad of Eau Claire, Robert Bogstad of Mondovi, WI, and John Bogstad of Chetek and many nieces and nephews and cousins. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers: Grant and Byron and twins Sylvester and
Kenneth and daughter in law Judy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Ruby's name to the Syverson Lutheran Home, 816 Porter Avenue, Eau Claire, WI 54701.
