Irene E. (Furrer) Swartz of Duluth, Minnesota, age 37 passed away Sunday November 23, 2008 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.
 
A gathering to celebrate her life will take place at Wild Ridge Golf Course, 3905 Kane Road, Eau Claire, WI 54703 on Saturday November 29, 2008 from 1-5 pm at 2:00 pm there will be an opportunity to share memories.
 
Irene was born in Spring Valley, Illinois on September 2, 1971 to Robert and Darlene (Carroll) Furrer. She was a former member of Jobes Daughters and a member of Brainerd Minnesota Eastern Star. Irene graduated from Brainerd High School and then from Hutchinson Technical School. She then attended Lake Superior College in Duluth.
 
Irene was an avid Fisherman, Reader and she enjoyed "Scrap Booking". She loved to play cards, paint ceramics and talk on the phone.
 
Irene worked as a volunteer at "Tri-Towers" in Duluth. Irene is survived by her parents, Darlene and Robert Furrer of Eau Claire and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
