Rick Alan Geroux, age 54 of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, passed away February 17, 2008 at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire, surrounded by his family.

Rick was born April 4, 1953 to Roger "Bud" and Lois (Stein) Geroux in Milwaukee, WI.
He graduated from Memorial High School in 1971, and went on to attend the Chippewa Valley Technical College in both 1971-72 and 2007-2008. Rick married Peggy Dean on April 22, 1972, and they enjoyed raising two children in the Eau Claire area. He worked in sales for the grocery industry. In 2007-2008, Rick organized a support group to raise awareness to donors and recipients of organ transplants. Rick was an avid Golfer, Hunter, Fisherman and a huge fan of the Green Bay Packers. Rick enjoyed spending time with family and friends and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Rick is survived by his wife, Peggy; mother Lois
Geroux of Eau Claire, daughter Jennifer (Pete), son Jeffery (Sarah), and brother Scott (Denise) Geroux of Ladysmith. Rick is further survived by two grandchildren, Brandon Nergaard and Alex Geroux, along with several family members and friends. Rick was preceded in death by his father Roger (Bud), as well as his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Funeral Services for Rick will be at 11:00 am on Friday February 22, 2008 at Fuller Speckien Hulke Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph Road, Eau Claire. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire immediately following services. Rocky Gross will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 4-8 pm and again Friday morning from 10 am until the time of services.
