Charles A. Hultman age 85 of Eau Claire passed away early Saturday morning June 21, 2008 at the Oakwood Villa Nursing Home in Altoona.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday June 25, 2008 at Fuller Speckien Hulke Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph Road, Eau Claire, WI. Pastor Kurt Jacobson of Trinity Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will immediately follow services in the Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire. Military honors will be conducted by American Legion Post #53. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 10 am until the time of

| Charles was born July 29, 1922 in Hibbing, Minnesota to Charles and Jenny
Hultman, Sr... He graduated from Hibbing High School in 1941. He attended ST. Cloud Sate University and graduated from Duluth Business University. Charles participated in football and hockey through high school and college. He was very proud of his heritage as a native son of the Iron Range and Hibbing in particular and Minnesota in general. He was a strong proponent of Minnesota and the Vikings. |

Charles served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. After his active naval duty, he was in the Naval Reserve and recalled to active duty during the Korean Conflict. He also was an active member of the Citizen Military Training Center at Ft.
Snelling. |
He worked for Amoco Oil Company for 29 years and retired as a field auditor on July 1, 1977. He married Grace L. Feigum on July 19, 1964 in Brookings, South Dakota and moved to Eau Claire. He is survived by his daughter Jan Zimmerman and son Brad
Hultman, step-daughter Marilyn Feigum, Kathleen Stokes, Nancy Behm and stepson Steve
Feigum. He was preceded in death by his wife Grace, who passed away on October 17, 2000, his parents and a sister Ruth.
