David Peter Johnson, age 72 of Eau Claire, passed
away Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at Luther Hospital.
David, son of Harold and Agnes (Fagerlie) Johnson was born
February 23, 1936 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. |
On February 4, 1961 he married June Ellen Gueldner at Zion
Lutheran Church, Mondovi, Wisconsin. David was a dairy farmer
until he retired in 1999. Throughout his life he enjoyed fishing,
hunting, gardening, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, June (Eau Claire, WI); five children, Timothy (Tammie) Johnson, (Ocean Springs, MS), Tina Sheppard (Apple Valley, MN), Ted Johnson (Eau Claire, WI), Penny (Ryan) Robinson (Sullivan, WI), and Crystal Johnson
(Menomonie, WI); seven grandchildren, Catlyn, Trevor, Cassandra, Brett, Andrew, Tate, and Thomas; one sister, Julia Johnson; five brothers, George, James, Norman, Donald, and Oscar; and many nieces and nephews. |

David was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Marion Pabst; and two brothers, John and LeRoy.
A funeral service for David will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 25, 2008 at Fuller-Speckien-Hulke Funeral Home with Pastor Dale Horner, Jr. officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Brunswick Cemetery.
