| Karen Kappus, age 65 of Eau Claire passed away

Karen was born Nov 15th, 1942, to Elenore and Walter Williamson in
Eau Claire. She graduated from Eau Claire Memorial Senior High
School in 1960. Karen worked at Younkers in Eau Claire for over 24
years. She loved quilting, sewing, artex painting, word searches
and country music. She married Wilfred F. Kappus Jr. in Eau Claire
Jan 7th, 1961.
Survivors include her daughters Rebecca Kappus, Renee Kappus of Eau Claire. Kristi (Kevin) Swift of Chippewa Falls, a son Mark Kappus of Minneapolis. Three sisters Rosie Glandville of Waterloo Iowa, Shirley (Don) Webber of Chippewa Falls, Mary (Bud) Potts of Independence. Three brothers Joe (Carolyn) Williamson of Eau Claire, Jerry (Shelly) Williamson of Augusta, Chuck Williamson of Eau Claire. 11 Granddaughters and 4 great Grandsons. |

Preceded in death by parents Elenore and Walter Williamson, husband Wilfred F. Kappus Jr., and two infant daughters.

Funeral Services will be at 1 pm on Monday July 21, 2008 at Concordia Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3715 London Road, Eau Claire. Pastor Frederick W. Theiste will officiate. Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Eau Claire immediately following the services.
Friends may visit at the Church on Sunday evening from 4-8 pm and again Monday from noon until the time of services.
