Suzanne M. Lund, 78, died on Wednesday, October 15, 2008, at Sacred Heart Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was born on March 31, 1930 in Eau Claire, WI to John and Dolores (Conrad)
Holdorf.
She married Edward S. Lund on July 12, 1952, at St. Patrick's Church in Eau Claire. She graduated from Eau Claire State Teacher's College. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Parish in Eau Claire. Suzanne enjoyed many hobbies including baking and cooking, especially pies; playing cards and bridge; shopping; and taking trips to many casinos. Suzanne also enjoyed fishing in Canada throughout the years with family and friends and spending time with her grandchildren. |

She is survived by three sons, Edward (Karen) of Eau Claire, Stephen (Sandra) of Eagan, MN, and John (Dianne) of Eau Claire; four daughters, Jeanne Watson (Daniel Taylor) of Middleton, WI, Ruthanne (Jim) Harmer of Los Angeles, CA, Suzanne (Jeffrey) Sacia of Eau Claire and Julianne (Jon) Hrubesch of Eau Claire; two brothers, John Holdorf, and Richard (Ruth) Holdorf; and one sister, Dolores (Dale) White; and 15 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward; her brother, Donald Holdorf, and her sister, Gretchen Craemer.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 1 P.M. on Monday, October 20, 2008, at Immaculate Conception Church, with the Rev. Eugene Klink officiating.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 P.M. on Sunday, October 19, 2008, at Fuller-Speckien-Hulke Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph Road in Eau Claire.
Friends may also call an hour before the service on Monday at the church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Eau Claire. Memorials may be made in Suzanne's name to Immaculate Conception Parish or Sacred Heart Hospital.
