Dennis D. Mickelson, age 58, died on April 16, 2008 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.
Dennis was born on February 19, 1950 in Eau Claire. He married Sue Anderson on March 5, 1971. They had two children: Kim and Donovan. Dennis traveled extensively throughout the United States. He lived in New Orleans for 15 years.
He is survived by: his daughter, Kimberly Mickelson (Mark Storvick), and son, Donovan (Cassie Hess), both of Eau Claire; grandchildren, Dustin, Eau Claire,
Keshia, Key West, FL, Leah and Luke, both of Eau Claire; great-granddaughter, Emma Perez of Eau Claire; wife, Sue Anderson; brothers, Bobby of Eau Claire and Ronny of Hudson, WI; sister, Joellen Mannes of Eau Claire; half-brothers, Robert, Donnie and Brian, all of Eau Claire; half-sisters Shannon and Lisa of Eau Claire; and many nieces and nephews. |

He is preceded in death by his best friend, Michael (Mickey) McNeely.
Services for Dennis will be on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at Fuller-Speckien-Hulke Funeral Home Chapel, 3209 Rudolph Road, Eau Claire, with Pastor Mark Schulz officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services.
