My sincere condolences to the family. I grew up on the farm next to where John grew up, north of Albany. I always remembered him and his parents as wonderful people. Hi Bobbie -- Let me express my condolences as you mourn John's death. I would have liked to have done that in person but I missed seeing John's obit in the newspaper ... and it was after the event that Maureen Raskin mentioned that she had attended his visitation. From what I recollect, I only met John once and that was at Philip's funeral (last year?). But I and many other people here at Peace owe John and the other leaders who started this church a great debt of gratitude for their sacrifices and commitment. I honor his life and service and pray that God's comfort and resurrection hope would fill you during this time of sorrow. Mark Schulz Pastor
