Elsie F. Nogle, 99, of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, died
on Sunday, March 9, 2008 at Sacred Heart Hospital
in Eau Claire. She was born April 11, 1908 in
Butternut, Wisconsin to William and Bertha Nogle.
She graduated from high school in Eau Claire in
1927, and then went to Eau Claire teachers
college, graduating in 1929. Elsie also went to
business school for 9 ½ months. She lived in
Wheaton, Illinois for several years, and took care
of children there. Elsie then returned to Eau
Claire and worked at First National Bank for 30
years. She was a charter member of Calvary Baptist
Church in Eau Claire.

Elsie is survived by a nephew, William (Gloria) of Spooner, two great-nephews, Mike (Lori) and Mark (Paula) Knutson of Rice Lake, one niece Janet Petersen of Orting, Washington, one great-niece Sue Foster, two great-nephews Rich (Karen Peterson) of
Chewelak, Washington and Jeff Peterson of Seattle, eight great-grand-nieces, five great-grand nephews, one great-great-grand niece, and two great-great-grand nephews.
Elsie was preceded in death by her parents William and Bertha
Nogle, sisters Iva Nogle, and Flossie (Kenneth) Knutson, one great-niece Gay Louise Knutson, and two great-nephews, Terry Petersen and Randy Petersen.

Services for Elsie will be on Thursday, March 13 at 6:00 p.m. at Fuller-Speckien-Hulke Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Pond of Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Friends and family may call at the Funeral Home 1 hour prior to service. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery. Family and friends may offer condolences online at www.fullerspeckien.com. Fuller-Speckien-Hulke Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
