Milton F. Quillin, age 82 of Eau Claire passed away on October 29, 2008 at his home with his wife at his side.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 1:00 pm on Monday November 3, 2008 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1712 Highland Avenue, Eau Claire, WI. Father Eugene Klink will officiate. Entombment will immediately follow the services in the Chapel of the Resurrection Mausoleum in Eau Claire. Friends may call on Sunday from 4-7 pm at Fuller Speckien Hulke Funeral Home and on Monday at the church one hour prior to services.

Milton was born on December 30, 1925 to Thomas and Eleanor (Gasper) Quillin at the family farm in Brownsville, Minnesota. He married Helen Hammell on September 17, 1951 at Immaculate Conception Church in Lansing, IA. They lived in LaCrosse for a short time and then moved to Eau Claire in 1953. He was employed by G&R Tile and Terrazzo. In February of 1958 along with three partners, he started Eau Claire Tile and Terrazzo Inc. He retired in 1982 due to health issues. Milton was a lifetime member of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers.
Milton is survived by his wife of 57 years, Helen of Eau Claire, son Daniel (Cathy) Quillin of Eden Prairie, MN, son Steven (April) Quillin of Lakenheath AFB, England, and grandchildren Kyle, Ellen, and Sophia, who he was very proud of. He is further survived by a brother Cyril Quillin of Onalaska, WI and sister Eileen (Ernest) Yanke of Port Charlotte, FL, as well as sisters-in-law Verna Quillin, Stacia Quillin, and Lois Quillin. He was preceded in death by brothers Marcel "Mac" Quillin, Devoine (Duke) Quillin, and Donald Quillin, sister Rosemary Nixon, and sister-in-law Ann Quillin.
Memorials may be given in Milton's name to the Immaculate Conception Church Building Fund, Northwest Wisconsin Homecare, or to a charity of the donor's choice. Friends and family may offer condolences online at www.fullerspeckien.com.
