Rhodes Family I was one of Noahs nurses when he was just a baby. I worked with NorthWest Home Care at the time. I remember his sweetness and his strength as I cared for him. May the Lord comfort you as you grieve. Sincerely, Joella Alexander

Noah was a special treasure. My first time caring for Noah, he grabbed my hand and wouldn't let it go. From that day forward we were buddies. He truely impacted my life as a new nurse starting out on 5th floor. What a wonderful spirit, kind heart and intelligent boy. He was loved and will be missed by many! My thoughts are with your family during this time. Alicia Novotne, RN

I want to thank you Rose and Caleb, for allowing me to care for your precious son. He left his foot prints on my heart, I will never be the same. I loved waking in the morning knowing I would get to go to work and take care of Noah. He amazed me with his patience. I was always bothering him with something that had to be done and he went along with it, often helping me. He gave me confidence to do things I never thought I could do. He taught me to make to best of what I have. He changed me, he made me better. I miss him so very much but I am comforted imagining him free and running, talking--telling all his ideas, shining even brighter today in Gods love. Again, thank you for the gift of Noah. God bless you all and I will keep you close in my thoughts and prayers. Andrea

It has been my honor to care for Noah for 5 1/2yrs at Children's. I will deeply miss him along with his other primary nurses and many more throughout the hospital. I can see him running, jumping, talking and riding on Thomas. He is peaceful and free. He is happy and loved. I know that he will truly miss his loving family and will be watching over you all the time with a smile because he knows that you love him so very much.

Dear Sister Rosie & family, We just heard about Noah's entrance into the arms of Jesus late this (Thursday) afternoon. Even though he is in heaven, I know a mother's heart and have an understanding of the pain of separation from someone who is so special and such an integral part of your lives. But...praise God! Noah no longer needs a vent, he can run and jump and play with no effort and no more feeding tubes or IV's or colostomy bags and no more pain...As my Pastor used to say, "we all want to go to heaven; we just don't want to go one at a time." You're in our thoughts and prayers always. You're a wonderful family and treated that little boy with such love and compassion...and you will never regret that. I can't believe he was almost 10 years old.. and they said he'd never leave the hospital. Look at what God has done through you and the other people that were connected to Noah in some way. Now he is with that great cloud of witnesses that the Bible says we are surrounded by, so he is not far away. We love you! Call when you can or if you want to stop over when you are in town, we'd love it. I usually only leave to go to church or the doctor, so someone is usually always here. The write-up in the paper was beautiful, by the way. Love, Ken, Ruth, Janelle & Tami

I did not learn that Noah went to be with Jesus, until this past Fri., or I would have been at the Chuch service for him. I think of him often, as one of the many angels that God has used to Bless my life. May God give you His strength to keep on keeping on.SEM

Family of Noah Rhodes, I was one of many faces that you have seen before in Noah's room at childrens hospital. A respiratory therapist and in Noahs room many nights. I miss him, he was a special little boy. I ALWAYS enjoyed taking care of Noah. Pulling his ventilator circuit off for attention. I'd walk in and there would be noah, sitting there with his leg crossed watching Thomas. He also would grab my hand and push me away, as if to tell me to go change his tape in the video machine. He would sometimes clap his hands at me too as if to say, hurry up. I'd say, are you telling me to hurry up noah? I think he really was telling me to hurry up. He gave me a chuckle most nights that i worked with him. I miss him. I am very sorry for your loss. Sincerely, Thomas
