To the family of Mrs. Roemer, I am so sad to hear of Mrs. Roemer's passing. I have very fond memories of being in her first grade class back in 1972. I was quite shy the first day of class and she very calmly introduced herself to me and asked me to tell her what my name was. Simply said, I completely trusted her from that moment on. She is my all time most favorite teacher and I'll never forget her. She was very special and I'm sorry to hear of her passing. Hang in there and take care, Bill Bauer Highlands Ranch, CO

Mark, Bob and Family: We regret that your Mom had to experience Alzheimer's. What a gracious lady she was! Her interest in teaching carried over to her interest in the activities of the Fall Creek School District. Bob appreciated her following and attending games, even after her sons were through participating. Like you, your Mom will always hold a warm place in our hearts. Bob and Maxine Miller

Bob and Mark, Sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. We have so many good memories of your family and your mother was just the "best". Your mom and dad made us so welcome when we first came to Fall Creek as a young teacher and young family- it was very much appreciated. And of course having you, Bob,as a student was very special for me and gave your mom and I always plenty to talk about at parent- teacher conferences. Thinking of all of you with very warm memories. My sympathy to you on Marge's passing. I knew her as a Delta Kappa Gamma member in the 80's and 90's. Often I would pick her up and go to meetings with her. She always offered a positive outlook on issues and was pleasant to be with. She was a good worker in the organization also and was always willing to help. I know you helped her very much in her declining years. I'm sure she was grateful. You have to be commended for this work of love. May she rest in peace and know she was a treasured woman and teacher.

I student taught at Arlington Heights Elementary School and met Marge at that time. Then I became a first grade teacher in Eau Claire and continued our friendship. I also attended Trinity Lutheran church with her. I always admired her very much and thought she was one of the kindest people I have ever known. She was a very special person. I was a student of Mrs. Roemer's back in the late '70's and to this day she is fondly remembered as one of my all time favorite teachers. I have some great memories of her class - like the time I got bored during Social Studies, scrunched down in my chair and cut my banks to the hairline - when I sat back up, she just looked at me and kept on teaching - she didn't miss a beat - then there was the time that I ate WAY to many peaches at lunch time - won't got into detail, but she was there to make me feel better and not so embarassed. She will always hold a special place in my heart. My deepest sympathies go out to everyone in her family. God Bless!
