Bonita Elaine Rogstad, age 81, died September 19, 2008 at Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
Bonita was born September 8, 1927 to Morgan and Florence (Blair) Davis in Barron, WI. She married John Rogstad on April 2, 1955. Bonita played piano on Joy Day at Sacred Heart Hospital and was an active member of
Trini-team. She loved working with Alzheimer's patients. She served as activity assistant at Oakwood Villa Nursing Home and Syverson Lutheran Home where she also played piano. Bonita taught kindergarten at Sam Davey Elementary School from 1954-1957. |

She is survived by her children, Linda (Robert) Felch, Kathryn (Kelly) O'Connell, and James Rogstad; grandchildren, Erin O'Connell, Andraya (Josh Chase) Albrecht, Michael, Kristen, Rachel, and Blair Albrecht; step grandchildren Heather and Robyn Felch; great-grandchildren, Ava Chase, and Nathan Doeringsfeld; brother, Evan "Bud" (Lorraine) Davis, and sister Ramona "Moni" Stodola.
Bonita is preceded in death by her parents.
The family would like to thank Dr. Anton Kidess, Sacred Heart Pastoral Staff, and the Critical Care Staff for their great and kind care during Bonita's brief stay.
In lieu of flowers memorials made in Bonita's name are preferred to Christ Church Cathedral.
Services for Bonita will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2008 at Christ Church Cathedral with Father Robert L. Rademaker officiating. Friends may call at church one hour prior to service. Burial will be at Wayside Cemetery in Barron, Wisconsin.
