| Odilia M. Scheffler, age 91, of Elk Mound, passed
away Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at the Dunn County Health Care
Center. |
Funeral services will be Saturday April 5, 2008, at 12 p.m. at St.
Joseph's Catholic Church in Elk Mound with Father Victor
officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Elk Mound.
Friends and family may call from 4 to 7 P.M. Friday April 4, 2008,
at Fuller-Speckien-Hulke Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph Rd. in Eau
Claire and again one hour prior to services on Saturday.
Odilia was born January 13, 1917 in Boyd, Wisconsin to Michael and Margaret
(Mousel) Yaeger. They later moved to the Town of Springbrook, Dunn County. Odilia married Alvin Scheffler on May 16, 1947 in Altoona. They farmed together in Dunn County for over 40 years. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, puzzles, fishing and gardening. |

Odilia is survived by her four sons and one daughter; Lloyd (DiAnna) Scheffler of Elk Mound and their children Terri (Mitch) Greenfield and Jim; Alan Scheffler of Chippewa Falls and his children, Mike, Matthew and Marissa; Dale Scheffler of Menomonie and his children, Shawn, Jared, Evan, Ethan, DaNae and Carrissa; Dennis (Leisha Hayes) of Elk Mound and their son Devan; Marie (Dan) Kudela of Elk Mound and their sons, Steve (Clarrissa) Scheffler and Tim. She is also survived by sister-in-law, Margaret Becker of Milwaukee; and brother-in-law, LaVerne (Angie) Scheffler of Salem; Three great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Alvin (2003), her parents; brothers, Neil, Raymond (Beryl), and Leon (Ruth). Brothers-in-law, Ed (Elizabeth), Harold (Elsie), Warren Becker. Sisters-in-law Mabel (Paul) Bagland, Irene (Louis) Brandt and Francis (Jim) Neuens; and one great grandson Devin Lehman-O'Neal.
