William R. Schultz, age 85 of Eau Claire passed away Sunday January 20, 2008 at the Clairemont Nursing Home in Eau Claire.
Funeral Services will be at 11 am on Thursday January 24, 2008 at Fuller Speckien Hulke Funeral Home. Pastor James Whatley of Peace Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Concordia Lutheran Cemetery in Hammond, Indiana at a later date. Friends may call at Fuller Speckien Hulke Funeral Home on Thursday morning from 10 am until the time of services.

William was born March 4, 1922 in Hammond, Indiana to the late William and Anna
(Pomplin) Schultz. William spent the first 26 years of his life in Indiana. He then moved to Calumet City, Illinois where he spent 36 years. In 1986, he moved to Eau Claire. He served his country in the United States Army as an Infantryman during World War II. William enjoyed building model airplanes, fishing, and traveling. William was a member of Peace Lutheran Church.

William is survived by a brother, Bob and a sister-in-law, Doris both of Eau Claire. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Al.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in William's name to Peace Lutheran Church, 501 E. Fillmore Street, Eau Claire, WI 54701.
