Rodney Dewane Severson, age 81 of Eau Claire, died September 13, 2008, at his residence.
Rodney was born on July 25, 1927, to Sever and Adella (Huse) Severson in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and the Korean conflict. He retired from the Northern Center after 35 years of employment in 1989. |
Rod is survived by his wife, Barbara; three children, Christine Simonson, Charlene Severson, and Wayne
(Kimm) Severson; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 23 step-grandchildren; 15 step great-grandchildren; two sisters; two brothers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His parents, three sisters, three brothers, and his wife Mary preceded him in death.
Rod will be remembered for his sense of humor, his compassion for others, and his love of family.

A graveside committal service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Lakeview Cemetery on Friday, September 19, 2008. Friends may call at
Fuller-Speckien-Hulke Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph Road, Eau Claire, on Thursday evening from 4-7 p.m..
